Ville Forsby returns to Anstar – a strong returnee to boost the growth of composite beam products

Ville Forsby returns to Anstar after a short break. Ville, who first joined the company in 2019, will now lead Anstar's composite beam sector. Previously, Ville was in charge of sales in the Baltics and Sweden at Anstar. In between, Ville worked at Neste, but he felt the pull to return to Anstar.
"It's nice to come back. The position is both interesting and challenging due to the economic conditions. I accept the challenge with a positive attitude," says Ville.
Sustainable growth in composite beam products
Ville Forsby started in his new role at the beginning of October. His new duties include sales, planning, and project management in the composite beam division. Anstar's exports have previously been focused on the Baltic Sea region. Until now, the export products have been mainly connection parts, but composite beam projects have also been made, for instance, to Sweden and Estonia.
The next step in internationalization is to grow the export market for composite beam products. Within a few years, Anstar aims to achieve 20 percent of its exports from composite beam sales. Similarly, there's a continuous effort to grow the domestic composite beam sales.
"For example, the composite beam market in Sweden is large, and we aim to increase our share there."
"Anstar began by expanding the composite beam product market in Finland. Now, these products have a strong reputation domestically, and the concept has proven to be effective. In addition to domestic growth, it's the right time to expand composite beam sales more robustly abroad. For instance, the composite beam market in Sweden is vast, and we aim to increase our share there.
Responsibility issues are of great importance in Sweden, which suits us perfectly. Anstar created a comprehensive sustainability program in the fall of 2022 for sustainable business development, and our sustainability report serves as a strong support for sales, especially to countries like Sweden," Ville says.
Welcome back to Anstar, Ville!
