Founded in 1981, our family business specializes in the sale and manufacture of concrete structure connections and composite beams.

Our headquarters and production facility are located in Villähde, Lahti, Finland. Our staff includes about 80 employees, most of whom work in production. In production, we have various machine and metal industry experts, such as flame cutters. Anstars production has employees originally from eight different countries. In the office we work in design, purchasing, sales and development.

Less than half of the people working at Anstar are native Finns. There are employees from eight different countries working at Anstar. The working languages we primarily use are Finnish, English, Estonian and Russian. Among the supervisors there are always people with whom all employees share a common language. We encourage learning Finnish, for example, through salary incentives.

Anstar’s work culture emphasizes the use of one’s own judgment by employees. Everyone must be an expert in their own work. It is essential that everyone is respected regardless of nationality, religious belief, or opinions. Everyone should also respect others and not cause conflicts.
