PEIKKO ACCUSES ANSTAR OY OF PATENT INFRINGEMENT
Anstar Oy has manufactured composite beams since 2003. In addition to the A-BEAM W® composite beams, the product range includes A-BEAM S®, also a product developed by Anstar Oy and based on technology already known before Peikko’s beam Deltabeam.
Hundreds of significant buildings have been implemented using these composite beams and Anstar Oy’s composite technology.
“This comes as no surprise to us, and our experts have provisionally examined Peikko’s claims. There is no indication that we have infringed on their rights. Of course, Anstar does not intentionally infringe on anyone’s product rights, and we will defend our right to operate on the market. The Market Court will give its decision on the matter in due time,” says Managing Director Tero Viljakainen.
