Anstar Oy to deliver connection pieces for BillerudKorsnäs’s Next Generation project KM7 board mill in Sweden
Anstar Oy will deliver several thousand column shoes and other connection pieces for elements used in BillerudKorsnäs’s Gruvön board mill in Grums, Sweden. The mill will manufacture liquid packaging board for the Asian market. The connection pieces will be delivered to Betonimestarit Oy, the concrete element contractor for the project. Betonimestarit is part of AS TMB Group. Elements for the project will also be manufactured at other TMB plants.
The deliveries will begin immediately and will probably continue throughout 2017. The delivery for the project, including the steel structures, totals approx. 80,000 tonnes, and the total volume of BillerudKorsnäs’s investment is approx. EUR 600 million, one of Sweden’s largest industrial investments at the moment. The project should be completed in early 2019.
